After Playa Chica we find Playa la Sal beach. This cove is a sandy cove of only 20 metres long and is situated between the Torre de la Sal and the limit marked by the cliff that also forms the limit to Playa Chica.
Playa la Sal can be accessed from the promenade of the Perla de la Bahía housing development.
On this coast we find a building that gives its name to the cove: Torre de la Sal.
This tower has been known since the 16th century and is believed to be a Nasrid work that was part of the watchtower system of the Andalusian coast.
Later in time, salt works were built nearby and the tower was used to store salt, and its name derives from this us
