LA PERLA DE LA BAHIA a peaceful retreat perfectly located in the middle of Costa del Golf, close enough to Estepona and other towns, yet picturesque and well situated so that you essentially have your own private beach. Excellent apartments with magnificent views, green public areas and clean swimming pools.
This is a very well maintained urbanisation with access to the beach and excellent views. The apartments are very well laid out, spacious and offer a great view. There is a variety of nationalities as owners, which gives it a nice cosmopolitan feel.
Estepona is just over 10 minutes drive away, the stunning village of Casares about 15 minutes, Gibraltar 30 minutes and Marbella 25 minutes. Approximately 1 hour from Malaga airport. If you don’t feel like using the car, the wonderful restaurant La Sal is only a few metres away and some Chiringuitos within a 5-15 minute walk and the exquisite beach club Finca Cortesin within a 10 minute walk. Centrally located for a nice relaxing break.
La Perla de La Bahia is situated on the beach of Casares and is a luxury frontline beach development. It is probably one of the best apartments developments in this area of the Costa del Sol.
The most striking thing about La Perla de la Bahia is a unique architectural style with a number of Moorish influences. The ornate arches and large focus of communal gardens are some details that change this urbanisation into something really special. The urbanisation has several communal swimming pools, including a heated one.
Built approximately 10 years ago to a high standard, La Perla de la Bahia is located right on the beach in the area known as Casares, which is about 10 minutes drive west of the coastal town of Estepona and about 20 minutes from Marbella’s famous Puerto Banus.
The complex has great natural charm and architecturally reflects the best of period Moorish architecture – from the Alhambra in Granada to the Mezquita in Cordoba – with arches, minarets, domed towers, terracotta and ceramic floors and water fountains everywhere.
The open spaces between each block that make up the development are the perfect home for its sub-tropical gardens, which are among the greenest and best kept of any community on the Costa del Sol.
It also helps that the complex is right on the beach, at the least crowded western end of the Costa del Sol, with the highly prestigious Finca Cortesin beach club practically on its doorstep.
The interior design of the re-sale apartments and penthouses here also has an unmistakable Moorish influence, with a mix of marble and terracotta flooring, hand-painted tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, arched entrances and spacious outdoor terraces with stunning views of the sea, Gibraltar, the North African coastline, and of course the wonderful green areas of the complex.
The development consists of four different phases of two and three bedroom apartments with private underground parking space allocated to each apartments. The apartments are spacious and bright, with fireplaces, air conditioning and heating. There is also underfloor heating in the bathrooms. They have lovely terraces which lend themselves to al fresco dining. Many of the flats have stunning sea views.
The location is fabulous as you can walk directly onto the unspoilt Casares Beach. There is even a chiringuito, “La Sal”, which has an excellent reputation, on the doorstep.
The typical village of Casares is just a short drive away. There are also numerous golf courses to choose from around this area of the Costa del Sol, often referred to as the Costa del Golf.
